Changing the differential angle by 0.1 degrees of angle? Did I read the correctly? Wow. Are angles actually set with that amount of accuracy? Or are those readings just what is left over after the error. For example, perhaps the instrument reading is 6.5 but the real number could be somewhere between 6.2 and 6.8?

I'm not being sarcastic -- sincerely curious.

Not sure what you're showing in that photo?

    Measured angles on your truck?

    Before, during, after what exactly?

For me I had to shim the pinion up and flip the carrier bearing to get a good running angle. You will need to get familiar with an angle gauge.Takes some math and trial and error.

Not so worried about rear diff angle rather the angle coming off the tranny. I am experiencing exact symptoms as listed in the photo so I'm assuming (even though the angles are little) it could be the same issue

This is just a photo I found on a thread with a member experience exact same issues. He adjusted to these specs and though they're not changing much it solved the issue

How much lift do you have? And what degree shim did you use?

you can try messing with the angles like the picture states to find the sweet spot but with a 6" lift, I can imagine it will never drive as smooth as without a lift. I have only a 1.75" front & 1.5" rear and any combination of angles didn't help. Mine ending up being the drivers side front needle bearing. Replaced with ECGS bushing and all is good now but for the longest time I thought it was the rear. They is a thread here that goes into symptoms and fixes for the needle bearing.
