    Atleast not today.
So, I live across the street from the local elem. school. I park my truck on the street and this is the first issue I have had doing so. I guess it was just one of those "well shit" instances.
I went to town in another vehicle today, and when I got home I decided to wash my truck. When I went out to pull my truck down the driveway, I notice that my back driver side door glass is shattered. Has a nice impact point almost center on the glass.
Fortunately, my window tint held the glass together very well, there isn't a pile on the ground and in my truck. Just a few pieces. If anyone doesn't have tint, just for the cleanup factor alone, it is worth it.
Now I am waiting for the school district rep to return my call. Hopefully their insurance will pay for a new window.
To those who are thinking it, no it didn't happen last night. Alarm didnt go off, and it goes off if a loud bike rides by. I turn the alarm off during the day so that it won't get set off when I am not here because there are classrooms close enough that I could throw a baseball to someone leaning out a window.

Oh well, I guess this would be a low end rant. But like I said, window tint is awesome at holding shattered glass together.

No, that is not a reflection off my bald head. I haven't used a polisher on it yet.

in high school my girlfriend came to pick me up and we're sitting in her car and there was a guy with one of those bigger walk behind mowers behind us. BLAM, I though someone shot out the back window but soon realized the mower had thrown a rock. The school payed for it.

Lawn mower kicked up a rock is the best guess. Considering the groundskeeper was mowing the grass/overgrowth when I got home, and some of the rocks from where the edge of the grass is were on the sidewalk and road, it seems pretty logical. If their insurance will cover it, great. If not, it will be $150 out of my pocket. So yeah, I am hoping their insurance will. To answer the question on your mind Dereck, yes I took pictures of the truck, and the rocks in the road and sidewalk.

I also worked as a landscaper while still in school and I broke a car window by flinging a rock off of a weed eater. I broke two home windows one with a power edger and one with a mower. Flung rocks into my shin multiple times and that felt really good. Slug guts on my face. Dog shit on my legs. Yep, it happens.

Sorry just didn't see any mention of actual occurance in the post other than the title. Hopefully they do cover it, I think you got enough evidence.

No worries. I was more pissed when I ran over a couch on the freeway, that one put a crease in my other rear door. Like I said, this is one of those "shit happens" times. I need to find someone local that does as good a job at tinting windows as the guy down in AZ did.
On a lighter note, pan fried red snapper for dinner. Mmmmmmmm.

Hahah reminds of the time at the grocery store parking lot someone let their shopping cart go and it rolled downhill and tboned my front passenger door. Cart was empty, I was sitting inside about to leave and then I felt a *boosh* I was like "the hell are we under attack?" Got out looked in the distance, no one to be seen. Shit happens

Edit: and I expect to see that snapper on live. Making me hungry

Shopping carts are Lucifers toys. Those dang things will turn 180* to slam into a parked vehicle.
