I am wanting to buy a bug guard for my '98 but I'm not sure if I'll like the looks. If someone could please post photos of their 1st gens with bug deflectors, I'd be much appreciated! Please also list the brand if you know it.

    Thanks :)

I did on my 2000, but I took it off as it only threw water into my windshield.

I have a growing rust spot on my hood from what I believe to of been a rock chip, it's between the size of a nickel and a quarter. I'm going to paint over it but we all know that's rather ugly, hence why I'm looking for a deflector. Thanks for the input :)

I am considering going the route of plasti-dip band where the typical rock chips appear, as I am not sure if I like the look of the shield for the 97/98. Can clean the rust spots up and fill them, then run the plasti-dip band. Thinking about it anyway...

Thanks for the Pic! I've never seen that color Taco before, is it a factory color? It's pretty :)

Good idea! I may have to look into that. Thanks!

On my old cutlass to cut down on the chips at the front of the hood I did a line of rockerguard a few inches up the then did a colour match paint, seemed to solve the problem.
