My neighbor offered these tires to my brother in-law for his Tucson. I've never heard of them. Looked them up on the internet and they seem to be unknown. They retail at $129,00 canadian, brand new. If anyone has anything on them, i'd appreciate comments please.

They are Sigma tires (Chinese?) And are rated "below average" by the Canadian Automobile Protection Association.

That was fast, thanks Mrbadwrench. I'm guessing $400 for the lot isn't really a good deal. The more i think, i'll tell my brother in-law to look elswhere completly. Or do you think a really low price could be worth it.

Not worth it. Further research shows similar poor ratings. There are plenty of good snow tires from reputable manufacturers in that price range (Firestone Winter force, for example). Purchasing a Chinese off brand is a mistake.

Much appreciated. My neighbor actually came to me saying he'd rather sell them very cheap to someone he doesn't know. Perfectly clear. Please don't mind any spelling mistakes, i'm french !
