I have a 2013 double door and recently went up a size in tires to 265/70/17 from factory 265/65/17 and would like to install a 1" to 2" leveling kit. My question is will I notice any difference in handling gas mileage front end parts wearing sooner than normal etc etc? I already notice a difference in the gas mileage just going from the stock all season tires to the Goodyear Wrangler Dura trac, and it is not for the better. All advice will be appreciated?

A small lift like that won't much much of a difference. Bigger tires will have the biggest effect on your mileage.

i notice 0 difference in my gas mileage when i went with 5100's set at 1.75" so i dont think thats gonna be an issue. it might at hwy speeds for long periods of time but should be quite minute. also ur new tires are about 3.5% larger meaning that u should multiply ur mileage by 1.035 to get how far u actually go i.e odo reads 100 u actually go 103.5 on 5 gals that going from 20 to 20.7. the 5100's are much large shocks and therefore much smoother on the rebound than the 4600, if u decide to go that route. if ur going with a spacer or something i suppose ur ride would be about the same.

Yesterday was my first trip with the up sized tires(minute in my mind) and it was highway. According to my gas gauge I got approximately 100 klm(cdn) less than I would have would the stock tires?????

What about handling and tire wear? Just want my truck to sit a little nicer, but do not want to speed up wear and tear?

I dont think 1" upfront is really gonna be noticable on the truck's wear side of things. And ur tires should be fine after u get an alignment

OK change out the front shocks? Don't really want to get into that much expense compared to maybe a one or one and a half inch spacer for the front. Do not know much about either really?

As long as you have an alignment done after doing the lift your tires will be fine. Problems can start when you go higher than 2.5" of lift.
