    Was offered $7000 for my truck which is as follows;

    2000 silver xtra cab SR5
    152,000 miles
    Automatic
    Stepside
    5 lug
    2wheel drive
    2.4 four cylinder
    No oil leaks
    No rust, frame looks like new
    Runs and drives great
    Very clean inside and out , garage kept
    Don't need to sell, just don't use unless I am picking up mulch or a larger item for the house

    I just got a 98 4x4 single cab 2.7 with a little bit of frame rust with 138,000 and I thought I paid too much

    That's a good offer for a 5 lug. $7k is about when you start getting into "poor quality" 4x4s

    Don't think I've ever seen a pre-2001 stepside before. Pretty cool.

    Thanks for the answers! Still not sure what to do, I know this is over KBB value however there are not many used trucks out there in the shape I like for this kind of money. I don't really need a truck except for in the spring and fall for landscaping, grass dead etc.

    Keep in mind that a rust free truck will bring a premium regardless of what KBB shows. My 96 I plan to ask considerable more than KBB when I end up selling it because it was always a Northern Cali truck and doesnt have an ounce of rust on it anywhere.
