Hey guys I recently was given an old 1996 2wd Tacoma from my grandparents with only 115,000 miles. I won't be using it to off road just mainly to commute/daily drive.

Its currently at stock height which is pretty damn low, has 195/75/15 tires that need to be replaced. I want the car to sit higher and have a more aggressive tire/rim setup but I don't have a ton of money to blow on a lift kit. So I was reading around and found these strut spacers that can lift the car 2 1/2 inches which is pretty good for the price. Then maybe I could find some used wheels on craigslist like a 245/75/17 combo?
Its just hard to find a 5 lug nut setup everything I find is 6lugnuts.

Any info or advice would be helpful thanks.

5100's all around, 2.75 inch lift, polyurethane body mounts, gibson exhaust, variation of the deckplate mod, intake resonators removed 285-75-16 goodyear AT
You could get a set of 31x10.5x15 tires to go with the strut spacers, that way you can use your old rims and just paint them for a different look.

be aware your speedometer wont show correct speed after all this (you will be going a lot faster then it says you are) unless you recalibrate to find the one you need and replace the speedometer gear

Most jeep rims will fit a 5 lug taco. Coat of paint/plasti dip and you're good to go. Probly find them cheap on craigslist. Also most mustang and BMW wheels will fit.

5 Luggers aren't easy to lift for cheap. You can do a .75" spacer lift for around $100 but anything higher than that you'll probly be looking at $300-$500 min.

    Anyway good luck!
