upper idler pulley

    on a 2006 2.7 4 cyl. replacing upper idler pulley with a gates #36173 pulley. the problem is the original bolt will not fit into the provided sleeve(spacer). any one ever had this problem. what to do. I went down to the local napa store and they had the exact same pulley with the same problem. what to do???

    I bought the pulleys from rock auto. 36174 is the lower pulley which fit just fine. its the upper pulley,36173, that is the problem. as much as I don't want to, I guess i'll go to the dealer. thanks everyone.
