I'm finally considering to lift my mall crawler with OME with dakar lift and I want to get 285/60/18 tires. My question is if I want to keep my stock wheels can I? And what do I have to get so they fit properly with the bigger wheel size and so I won't have to trim as much? Thanks uploadfromtaptalk1400758885524.jpg

If you go full OME you could run 285/65/18 with some small wheel spacers (I would imagine 1/2" or 3/4") but if you want to run 285/60/18 I don't think you will need spacers.

Wheels, lift, more as I discover them....
Why would you need a spacer when there is no change in the width..only a slight change in profile?

I've got the same wheels on my '12 TRD Sport Upgrade. These wheels are only 7.5 inches wide. All the research I have done shows that 285's are too wide for this rim width. If this incorrect, someone please chime in. I'd like to get 285's myself.

I upgraded the stock 60's to 265/65/18 BFG TA's. They now have 50K miles on them so I'll be upgrading to 275/70/18 when the new KO2's come out.

Most tire manufacturers recommend a 8" wide wheel w 285 wide tires. Since the stock wheel is only 7.5 there isn't much difference there. You still will probably need to run a spacer though to keep the tire from rubbing on the uca.
