    I have a stock 2.7 and I'm not getting very good fuel mileage. I don't lead foot the truck. Only getting 14/18 mpg. Any help welcome

    You'd need to give us a lot more information to have any kind of guess that would help you. My 2.7 gets 20-22 average and 27-29 hwy, 2013 2.7 DCSB 4x2 auto trans.

    How many miles on your truck? Stick or auto? Is the check engine light on? Any mods like a lift kit or oversize tires? Any details help...

    Unfortunately Tacomas will not give you the greatest MPG but you can modify to give you the optimum MPG yoru truck can have. Lots of info here in TW.

    The truck has 24k mile . No mods @ all. Totally stock. It is a 4x4. Manual tran . No engine light on. Only light that was on was the main. Req. Which you guys already helped me out on. Thanks for your help.

    Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
    My 2008 2.7 4x4 5 speed averaged over 20 mpg and the lowest I ever got was 18.8. I think there must be something wrong with your truck. My new V6 gets better mileage than you are getting.
