So, I'm the new guy here, with a 2006 TRD Access Cab 4x4. My battery went dead last week which gave me a chance to check out dual battery setups. As mentioned elsewhere, The Odyssey manufacturer also makes the Sears DieHard Platinum.

Sears has their batteries on sale right now ONLINE only for approximately 15% off. This includes the size 35 http://www.sears.com/shc/s/ProductD...ve-battery-group-size-35-price/p-02851035000P

Figured I should bring something to the party, so DieHard 35s for less than $191.00 or Odysseys for over $300. Sale ends tomorrow, but believe they will be on sale again on SUN for 10% off.

I got mine... and a Columbia Overland dual battery rack...now for cables and isolater etc.

BTW The 35 series fits with the Tacoma original tie down bars and J-rods.

Also Kudos to Sears and Diehard, my battery was over five years old, and I still received over $50 for pro-rated warranty coverage.
