Don't all 2nd gen Tacoma have the same mounting setup for the rear shocks. From the shock shown in the picture the end of the shaft is different.

See the end of the shaft in these shocks from my truck.

There're 14" shocks . So yes they won't fit your stock pickup .

Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
Rear shocks on a 2nd Gen have a bolt/stem on the top. They are not bushings.

Not the greatest picture, but you can see the shock perch on the top:

Good - been very busy lately. Bought a house, boat, snowmobile so now I have a bunch of other "toys" and don't play with the truck much anymore.

I'm not trying to be a asshole but the point is your ad needs to be more clear. If I was a newb and came to the "2nd Gen Tacoma Marketplace" and saw these shocks for sale I would tell myself "Ohh shit, great deal on some shocks" and I would buy these. Then I would get them, try to install them and realized they don't fit.

I don't mean any disrespect, Just looking out for the less informed.

There is an adapter you can use to fit these on a 2nd gen. I had them on my 05.
