    My favorite lens ever.

    I eventually found it with a 16-35f/4L that's making a run for the title though...

    Ah, I've had that one on my list for a while. Can't justify the expense for the 2.8 version, but the f/4 may be do-able.

    The f4 would definitely work for you. You would only need the 2.8 version if you were shooting weddings in low light.

    And the IS... I shot a waterfall with 1/s exposure hand held. Took a few tries but holy cow convenient for when hiking with non-photographers not wanting to wait for 10 minutes of setup.
