Should I ever use a differential drop when lifting my truck? Ive been debating whether to risk CV damage or give up ground clearance. Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome to TW :D

Some say that it helps a lot, others say they really didn't see a diff (pun intended). I personally didn't do it because I just unlock my hubs when I'm not in 4WD to reduce wear. Look at how close the rubber fins on the CVs are, if they are rubbing it may be worth it to do the diff drop. Just remember that it will drop the skid plates as well, so it may stop you from installing custom skids in the future.
