I waited like 2 years to get one thinking it needed to be installed, programmed, and then take days to learn how it works. Nope, it plugs right into the port and it fires up every time you turn the truck on. Read the instructions just so you can learn how to program what gauges you want to display and how to reset trip gauges and fuel gauges. Super easy addition and a very cheap price straight from the dealer. The hardest part is where you want to mount it and buying the right mount. Just look at their website, they lay it all out and make it easy.

Also it is universal. If you sell your truck you just unplug it and put it in the next car you get and all you need to do is reset it.
