So, my head unit works when it pleases which is not working for me. It's a JBL model with XM. So I've decided to upgrade to a new one with all the bells and whistles. I'm looking at getting a kenwood DNX690HD it seems to have all the features I want at a price I can afford. However I would still like to retain all the steering wheel features as well as the JBL speakers. From the research I've done so far it seems i'll need to get an adapter for both the amplifier and the steering wheel controls. On the kenwood site it says to get the idatalink maestro. Does anybody have any experience with that?
Also in regards to the XM is there anyway to salvage the antenna connections from the old Head unit so that I can use the stock antenna on the roof?

    Thanks

    Loren
