Greetings Boys, I have a problem with the wheels on my 2007 Tacoma, double cab 4x4, they are starting to rust. The long and short of it is that the dealer wants to have them sanded and re-powder coated instead of replacing them. They sent me to their wheel shop and I was told the wheels are defective, they were not manufactored correctly and as a result water gets under the powder coat and starts to rust. They were going to replace them but now they want to send me to yet another wheel place. I have had a great relationship with Toyota for years and they have alway done right by thier products, but this doesn't seem right. I understand they got a bad batch of wheels sometime in late 2004. Does anyone have any experience with this type of problem and is the fix they are proposing going to correct the defect or not?
