After 2 years of looking for a truck, this is what I have brought home. I was looking for a truck for quite some time, but I couldn't bring myself to pay the $5k+ asking price of the beat to shit 4 cylinder Toyota pickups locally. I ended up buying a 1995 Tacoma 3.4, 5 speed, 4x4 Regular Cab off of a buddy who had sank and hydro-locked the motor for $1k. After a salvage yard motor swap, new clutch/flywheel/misc. other parts to get this thing running and road worthy, I had about $3400 into it total. Now the fun stuff starts...

1995 Tacoma Regular Cab 240k miles on truck
1998 motor with 138k miles, timing belt changed at 109k

I was going to text you, but I was in and out of the house all day. Had to run some errands so the time I spent building shit was all split up throughout the day

I wanna do that exact tube setup in the rear, but cut holes in the bedfloor for the tube to pass through instead of cutting out the bedsides like you did.

    Looks really nice!

That's how I did in my old Tundra so I could still use the bed to haul my 4 wheeler and other stuff. It was pretty slick looking

The only ones I still have, none of the actual tube going through the bed

My buddy Walker came over and hacked up the bedsides and got them to fit pretty good. I added a little bit of tube work to the cage as well. It is coming together pretty good.
