Who has or knows much on the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS 2's??

Have to make a decision in the morning. Not too many choices up at the store now, without having to order. And I have a nail in one of my tires and they wont repair bc there's not enough tread left.

Might roll them and if I don't like them return them within a month and get something else. I know they're Lt's so I guess I can expect a drop in MPG. But had been thinking of the Cooper ST Maxx.. Or just going back with the General Grabber AT2 P's.

Yeah, dude at Discount measured mine and he said they wouldn't repair bc it wouldn't be safe and hold the plug well enough. Plus I'm due for a new set.

I ran the Falken Wildpeaks which are the same as the Rocky Mtns and I hate them with a passion. they should be demoted from AT tires to street tires because after about 10k then turn to racing slicks and you can't take them off road anymore. at least not successfully.

I know two major problems with the Rocky Mountains... #1: they are exceptionally heavy. Noticeably heavier than say BFG ATs. #2 and the most important: they only have half depth siping. Siping is what gives you traction in wet weather, so once you get half way thru ur tread wear they become like trailer tires.
