I had one for 4-5 years, then someone reported the plate. Went to renew the tag and DMV told me I had to get different plates due to them being offensive.

My 71 EL Camino had "STLC". When the DMV asked me what it meant I lied and said "Sport Truckers Love Chevy". :D

Try to revive an old thread.

Just got my ’09 Dbl Cab paid off. Thought I would treat it to some new plates. 75,000 miles in 5 years and is the designated weekend warrior.

I could have had BAJA white on black. I wanted black letters on white but it was taken. I passed because of the cost. I have better things to spend my money on.

It was $29 for the plate and I believe will be the same per year.

My license plate is my last name. Because I'm proud to be a Fenwick, and my family is my everything.

I only pay $10 extra I believe, for custom plates.

I've always beens o back and forth on a personalized plate...I have a great one for the Taco but I just can't bring myself to order it.

I entered the low number lottery this year, but if I don't end up getting one, I'll just order a Bruins plate and call it done. I almost got a few different plates for my Subaru but ended up going with a Red Sox plate.
