Hey, so recently i got a used 2010 tacoma and i noticed some light brown spots on the radio trim (radio/ac dash). It looked like spilled coke to be honest. Well i tried windex to get it up, and it worked for some of the spots. However, now there is a very black spot and i assume its the paint coming off. Is the undercoat of the dash black? Is the paint coming off, or what is the spot most likey? It wasn't there before the windex. Sorry for no picture.
also, by dash i am referring to the silver lining between the ac and radio. Thanks

Hard to say without a photo, but...

I use on the interior (vinyl, plastic, not-cloth). Windex (and a lot of general window cleaners) contain ammonia, which I wouldn't expect the interior of our trucks to hold up to very well.
