I've had my OME lift on for 33k miles and I'm getting a lot of tire rub across the turning radius. I've never had an issue with hitting my mudflap before but it's really starting to piss me off. Is there a mileage or estimated lifespan of these coils? I'm probably going to just replace them with new ones before Xmas.

What shocks are you running with the coils??

Does it rub in both directions? Check the coil seats on the shock (where the coil sits on the shock). Sometimes the shock can rust and the 'seat' can shift/fall a bit. If they're rusted bad enough... the coil will drop and that won't be a pretty situation to be in especially while you're driving.

I wouldn't think a 'coil' would go bad. Think of it this way..... the stock OEM coils last 10+ years on these trucks. OME is quality stuff.

    A shock...yea,they can rust.

I have the nitro chargers all the way around. I know they settle after a little bit but 3 years to settle? The shocks aren't rusted any more than surface rust. And yes it rubs regardless if I'm going forward, backward, turning right or left, full turn, half turn, quarter turn. I know at one point OME had problems with the coils sagging quite a bit but supposedly they remedied that issue. I'm wondering if I got one of those older sets.
