How many people would want All-pro to make a Slider that doubles as a step? Lower angler (or flat even) with the dimple die plates. I know they already have filler plate sliders but the angle is pretty steep ( rightfully so...due to proper off road clearance) But the expedition/overland crowd could benefit more to flat roof access step and parents would love a non ankle breaker angle for the little ones. Just a thought... Competitors do make these but a a pretty steep price.. I bet all pro could do it for a great price ;)

Thank you so much for thinking of us!

We do keep the angle as steep as possible for maximum clearance offroad as you noted.

We have seen our customers, and have done this ourselves, add a "sand paper like" grip tape on the most used spots for entry and step access to the roof rack.

This is something we will look into though on having an option for less of an angle for those who do want more of the step and less angle.

Thanks but not even close to what I was thinking of. I don't want steps attached to slider. I want the slider to be like a running board that is a protective slider.
Slee makes a perfect example.. But the near $1k price tag makes them out of my reachhttp://www.sleeoffroad.com/products/tacoma07_sliders.htm

AP makes the perfect plated slider.. Just want a more relaxed angle without the doubled price

    Thanks for the response guys!

    enough to go over stuff
Mine are trail gear and they are flat. Told my wife they were steps in the begining... Now she knows what they are and I wish I got them angled.

Yup those look great. I spoke to jerry about making them so they are def an option. Thanks!

Thanks jonB.. I have asked about getting this done and was told it would be difficult due to jigs and stuff and that was understandable. Good to know you can do it! I think I might have spoke to you when I ordered my co-workers bumper a few weeks back for land rover in colorado. It looks great on his truck

Thanks everyone! My post was also meant be a way to see if anyone else shared the same interest as myself and possibly be another product for someone to build

Would it be possible to just flatten the top of the exterior tube so it is easier to use as a step instead of rounded?
