In Maine, if you have an accident and there is less than $1,000 damage and no injuries there is no police report. Makes no difference who the insurance company is. I was rear ended by a lady in a Jeep and someone called the cops. They showed up, looked at the damage (slight) asked if anyone was hurt (no) and said since it is less than a grand.....c ya! and took off. Yep, I thought it was kinda weird too!

Wow i wish i had pics of the pontiac g6 that slamed into me! My pumper has an identical scrape like yours and didnt even bend! The girls hood was into her windshield. I love these trucks! I got 1800 from her insurance company because the adjuster didnt know if the brackets were bent or not lol. Fixted the chip with tuch up paint and some wet sanding, you cant even tell. 2 Funy.

I had the same thing in my Mini. A lady rear ended me in a hond a civic. It fu*ked up her car and it just bent my bumper brackets. Her insurance company gave me $980 To replace my rear bumper and brackets. I just replaced the brackets for like $80 myself and the bumper had a dent in it but it did'nt bother me.

Sorry to hear that happened but you came out ok IMO.
A new hitch cover is needed and some touch up paint. Ebay has some cool looking TRD hitch covers. Or whatever else you can think of.

I love it when people tailgate me. I leave my hitch ball installed most of the time.
