Ive done multiple bhlm. With about 80% success rate. But for some reason the driver side on my 12 always fogs up with condenstion. Why???
Ive tryed re sealing it twice and drilling holes. Then rescently got fed up and baught a new light and did the BHLM to it, and was super careful with sealing it good. Even did a bead of silicone all around the seam. And it still fogged up today! Not much, just alittle. But still, what the F...
what could it be? Its def. Not the seal.

U leave all bulbs out for 24hrs after sealing them?

Could it be off gassing trapped in there?

What silicone and what sealent are u using?

I always use clamps in the oven to reseal

I used window weld and GE silicone..
I probably waited 20hrs after sealing before puting bulbs in and install.

the silicone may cause a haze from the chemicals when applied to a headlight and its trapped inside.

I let the Paint dry for 24hrs. Then put the light back together then waited another 18-20 hrs before silicone and putting lights back in...
Well today will be the real test, its raining good!
Yesterday was dry and it didn't fog up.
