New 2nd gen front bumper by C4 Fab

Hey everyone, My name is Caleb with C4 Fabrication. I have been in the off-road/fabrication industry for almost 15 years now and love building custom Toyotas. I recently started my own business (about 2 years ago). I do custom off-road builds and custom pieces like bumpers, cages, roof racks and rock sliders.

I recently finished what is going to become my production version front bumper for the 05-11 Tacoma. All the parts are CAD drawn and CNC plasma cut in my shop. Here are some pics of one in raw steel on my 05 access cab.
What does everyone think?

 

What is the production time and pricing looking like?

 

This bumper is winch ready. This first one I built has brackets made to utilize the factory Toyota fog lights. I will not be offering the option to use OE fog lights on the production bumpers because the OE lights are to much of a pain to mount. The next one I build will have holes cut to fit round LED lights, or I believe there is room to fit a 6" round light in that same area. Square holes could also be cut to fit the LED pod lights if that is what the customer prefers.

This bumper is made from 3/16" plate with 1/4" plate uprights and 3/4" plate tow shackle hooks. here are some pics of the structural parts of the bumper.

The bumper utilizes 3/16" plate framing on the inside to strengthen the wings of the bumper and give a surface for the fog lights to mount on.

All three factory frame studs plus two more 1/2" bolts through the frame give plenty of mounting strength.

production time is about 1-2 weeks right now. Pricing will depend on whether you want the tube bull bar on top or just the plate bumper. Also powdercoating will be extra if you want it.

Plate bumper with no bull bar- 975.00
plate bumper with center hoop only- 1075.00
Plate bumper with center hoop and headlight hoops- 1225.00
Powdercoating (includes sandblasting first for best durability)- 200.00

 

Thank you! I will be posting pics within two weeks after this first one gets powdercoated and installed. Unfortunately my powdercoat guy is really busy right now and wont have the first one done for a while.

 

Also if anyone is wondering, the center hoop is 1 3/4" OD .120 wall tube and the headlight hoops are 1 1/2" OD .120 wall tube.

thank you! I am too, once I get all the proper jigs and everything setup to produce the front bumpers easily, I will be moving on to other areas of the Tacoma.

Hey everyone, been working on another option for upper tubing on the front bumper. I wanted something that would hold a 30" lightbar and not look out of place. This is what I came up with, what does everyone think?
