Hey all. I have a 2012 Sport dcsb. I have 17 inch stockers with LT265/70/17s tires. Truck is around 50k miles I know brakes are prob coming up soon although they do still feel good.

First question is should i go with stock stuff or upgrade to aftermarket.

If upgrade what would you guys reccomend? bigger rotors? what type of pads?

    Thanks in advance

Pull a front wheel and check (measure) the pads. Unless you are heavy on the brakes they should last 100,000 plus miles. That being said aftermarket stock are fine and save money unless you have some spare money laying around growing mold you need to get rid of.
Unless you are hauling heavy loads, and the truck is stopping fine forget about bigger rotors. In fact forget about replacing the rotors at all unless they are warped or again that money is starting to smell from mold. Remember the old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. ;)

Why do you NEED bigger rotors?
