Need a muffler for inspection. Can get one from RockAuto for $90. Ebay has a Thrush offset for $60. Anyone know if i can spin the Thrush vertically to accommodate for the offset? The OEM exhaust has a cylider style muffler with the pipe coming from the engine side in the top and comes out the bottom; so its offset vertically and the Thrush is offset horizontally.

Cherry bomb wont work. The exhaust pipe is not in line with each other. It comes from the engine side into the muffler at the top, and then exits the muffler at the bottom. So it is vertically offset. Any straight through muffler wont work, it must be chambered (to stick with OEM piping). So I'm unsure if a horizontal offset muffler can be turned on its side to line up with the vertical offset pipes.
