    Hello all
I recently acquired a '96 Tacoma with a few issues. Thankfully my sister is a short drive from here and a phenomenal welder and proud owner of an English wheel. The floor of the bed has seen better days and I have a rough idea of how I want this truck to function when I'm "done" with it. I am open to suggestions/ideas for fabricating a new bed with cosmetic attributes (not the flat sheet of metal with a little structural support so many locals opted to build) that will aid in getting the kind of mixed use abuse I know I'll be putting it through.

You should talk to Toyota. He had some rust damage on a truck around that year model I think and they ended up giving him like 12000 for it

So many creative ideas on here, I feel overburdened by the possibilities. I think I'll just focus on mechanical issues, upgrading parts as they fail/wear out. After a few more years here at Clemson I can go out and start making that money needed to make this truck the ox I envision. Until then, anybody near Clemson wanna help crank a wrench on occasion? As a student, I can get football tix as a "thank you"...

I've got a '94 Ranger if you'd settle for less...
