So, I bought a set of NGK laser iridium spark plugs #4996 A quick reference to the owners manual tells me to use double electrode plugs.

The NGKs I bought are supposedly OEM equivalent, but they're single electrode.

Should I send the plugs back and go with stock? I've actually been running single electrode plugs for the last 30-40k miles with no issues, and the plugs I replaced those with were also single electrode plugs. Engine seems to run fine.

Has anyone else used plugs like mine in a 2.4? Any difference vs stock? I know they use iridium in the newer Tacos.
