Hey guys. Had a question about my suspension set up. My taco is a 2013 dclb. I have icon coilovers up front and dakar leafs in the back. I love my suspension. The only thing is after I put the Dakars on I get that rake and I want my truck to be level. I don't want to remove a leaf because I want all the weight capacity I can get. So my question is, is it bad if I set my coilovers to 3" to get it level or will it put too much stress on my CV's? I also have Desert Motorsports uniball upper control arms if that helps with anything. Thank you.

I would adjust them. That's the benefit of having icons. Plus you have ucas so there should be too much stress on your cvs. Just make sure you get it aligned after.

Cool man. Thanks, I think I'm just gonna go for it and raise them a little and I'll pay attention to all the components and if there seems like there is stress on things I'll just lower them back down a bit and deal with the slight rake of the truck.

I have mine set at 3" CV's are fine. The gaps in the boots don't touch. That seems to be the indication of too much lift. But you will feel a difference in stiffness of ride.

how does it ride set at 3? Is it rough with all the preload now? Thinking about my future setup this was on my mind.

So did you end up adjusting it yourself or did you get a shop to do it I've also been wanting to set my kings up front to 3''
