disable corolla air bags?

    Does any one know if "I" can disable my wife's corolla air bags without waiting inline at the dealership?

    Couple shocks, some old tires, and a bad paint job
    Disconnect the plug from the steering wheel. If its still the same then its a yellow/yellow connector.

    I think they ahve a recall and the dealer is disconnecting them as well. But I'm sure its a wait for them to do it.

    They are disconnecting IFFFF they run out of parts, but its only passenger side not the whole system.

    Should be a fuse you can take out as well. I'd just disconnect the bag from the wheel as someone else already said.
