One set listed is the 5125s, but they've labeled them as 5100s
Anyhow the 5125s are a generic shock and come in various sizes, they choose a size that will accommodate 2-2.5" of lift. Just keep in mind the valving is generic vs. being application specific, so this could result in a slightly stiffer ride.

Really there is only one 5100 shock for the rear of our trucks. The extended length 5100 are somewhat, but the valving is different as these shocks work for both the Taco and the Tundra. So if my memory serves correct the extended 5100 are a little stiffer than the standard 5100.

5100 & 5125 are the same design shocks, valving may be different. 5100 is application specific, 5125 is "universal"

    05+ Tacoma Rear Shocks

    5100 0-1.5" - 24-186728
    5125 2-2.75" - 24-214667

    5160 0-1" - 25-177343

Who is claiming these are backordered? I have 25+ pairs on the shelf, with over 200 pairs at Bilstein available. Shipping next business day.

Every other retailer than you, and Bilstein. Wheeler's, CarID, etc.

Oh, damn! I know Bilstein had some production issues but that was cleared up a couple months ago.

Well if anyone needs them ASAP, Ive got them as do a few other TW vendors it seems.

For sure. Might be worth a post Chas, separate from here saying you have inventory. Everybody else is saying late November.

My company's Bilstein rep told me it would be sometime in late December before I would see the front 5100's for mine. I ordered them 2 weeks ago. I'm not in much of a rush though so I could care less. I've been dealing with Bilstein shortages on certain applications for 15 years at work. Nothing new to me. They make a great product. It's worth the wait. Although if someone is using OME springs why not use their shocks too? They are probably valved specifically for their springs. I'm probably just going to put mine in at stock height. If this spring "recall" results in a set of 4 leaf springs for my 05 and not just a clamp I might set them at .8 down the road.

    What's .8? Do you mean .85?

I picked up personally from headstrong offroad, bought maxtrack lift spindles some time ago. The guy was great, awesome service. Lift spindles is the way to go for only a lift.
