Alrighty so the past 8 months I've been flip flopping around on what set of tires I want to get next. There are so many choices of tires....I've had my mind set on Toyo M/Ts then Duratracs then Trail Graps then duratracs again now im thinking general grabber red letters and im back at the point of not really know what tire I really want next.

I currently have 265/75r16 Nitto Terra Grapplers and have only had them on for a year but after getting rid of my spacer lift and installing mid travel and my hybrid bumper, I now want to jump up to 315/75r16s. Im not worried about gas mileage, so either a M/T tire or another A/T tire is what im looking for as well as looking aggressive...im horrible when it comes to tires lol.

I think ive kinda narrowed it down to either the Duratracs, the General Grabber red letters since I can get a set of 5 for roughly the same price of 4 Toyo MTs/Trail Graps. I've heard so many good things about all these tires and then so many bad things about them as well, which is the main reason I think that I can decide on what i want.

any suggestions? I have some time to save, id love to have these 35s before Feb of next year before the Citrus Meet here in the good 'ol FL but as I said...I have some time to set money aside for new rubber

If I were you, I'd go with the red letter Grabbers. It's not like you have to worry about the slick and snowy winters, unless you do a lot of traveling. The grabbers will fit the look of your truck more, in my opinion (which means nothing). But I can totally understand your dilemma, since I am going through the same issue in my head. I browse tire sites daily and change my mind often. If you're looking for a deal and want a tire comparable to the duratrac, the Kelly safari TSR is a decent buy. I haven't heard much about them, but what I have has been good. Good luck with the decision.

hey thanks for the input man, i really am liking how the red letters look and they are also cheaper than the duratracs which is really nice. I can also sell my current tires to offset the cost of the 5 grabbers so id only end up like paying 500 some odd bucks for a set of 5 grabbers which is awesome and id finally get a damn full size spare lol

so I think my final decision is the 315/75r16 General Grabber Red Letters and im stickin' with it
