Factory paint color for inner grill

2009 Tacoma TRD Off-Road SR5 4x4

I need help finding a paint code for the grill. The inner grill on my pick-up is not faded, but the color is not uniform, and it appears blotchy. It appears to be a dark metallic gray, but I haven't had any luck getting the code for it. Also, has anyone else noticed this in their grill? I've also considered just painting it black. Thanks in advance.

If you're going to paint it black (not a bad idea BTW) get a high temp matt or flat black by Krylon. The high temp will last a lot longer & look great.
