Getting back around to finishing a salvage rebuild project. This is the back corner of the cab. Has a pretty good crease where the bed hit it. Is this repairable as is, or do you think a whole section needs to be replaced?

    thanks

If it's just creased right there and the panel isn't twisted due to the impact you could fix it. But you'll want to pull it out first. That would be a LOT of filler to make it look right as-is. I'm not a pro by any means but I've fixed a lot worse.

Can't use filler in that. Or shouldn't.

Im a bodyman helper thats not bad at all. Any decent body shop can fix that. Most of it can be pulled out and a light skin of filler and it will be good as new.

Yes. Use a slide hammer and rivets to pull it to out, some hammer work and a light coat of filler.

Thanks guys. The place I'm going to is about an hour away so didn't want to get there and hear..."uh yeah...thats going to be a BIG job". The frame pull is going to be enough.....

Sheet metal isn't really a big job, ever. If it can't be hammered and pulled out, it can be cut out and patched, or replaced altogether. The hard part will be the sheet metal on the right side where the bend is, since that will be REALLY strong.
