I need to wire up a 2 gallon air compression to a hot wire in my taco for power. It can only be a power source that is hot while the vehicle is on so it doesn't drain my battery. The 2 ideas i have are:

    A. tie into the wire that goes into the power outlet in the bed. It will be close to the compressor and i can use the 100W switch to turn it on and off while driving.

    B. tie it into the cigarette lighter.

If you know a better way or problems i may run into with these ideas I would appreciate your insight.

    Thanks!

I don't have an answer, but there is a pretty massive OBA (on board air) thread that may have something. Good Luck.
