Yeahh... It's still dirty as hell. I ran out of quarters so... I did my best in 4 minutes. Not worth waxing quite yet. I'll have to rewash to get the rest of the mud and dirt off, then she'll get a few coats for the winter

 

Yeah same here. I hate the waxing part. I use the turtle wax black box. It takes me 3 hours just to wax. Then tie in the washing vacuuming wiping down interior and putting it all back together. Its a full day project

 

I use Meguiars Ultimate. Usually 2-3 coats by hand. Lasts a whole winter

 

Thats good stuff too. I just like the black box cause it pulls out a shit ton of my scratches and blemishes too. Its only designed for black vehicles tho. But yeah I need to get it done

 

Ohhhhh that makes sense. The ultimate is perfect for the red pearl.

Next spring I'm gonna clay bar and redo everything.

Then maybe I'll consider giving my interior some TLC lol

same here.. i would rather have the exterior be filthy and the interior spotless and detailed than the opposite.

 

I use Zymöl cleaner wax. Love it. Wax on, wax off.

Sometimes if I am feeling frisky I will do two coats.

Its just difficult to keep the exterior spotless clean all the time. And I live on a dirt road so its just out of the question. 2 good washes a year with wax outside otherwise it just gets power washed

The zymol works pretty well!? Never heard of it

I love it. Really simple and for the money I think it performs as well or better than high $ wax.

I bought some already. I'll try it in the next few days on the Roof the the FJ. The whole thing was waxed except the roof

Yeah I get the picture. But on a serious note, I am about to wax my truck one of these days and I will take a picture of before and after with the Zymöl wax treatment so you can see the difference. I have a metric shit ton of surface scratches in my truck too. It should take a good amount of them out.

 

I THINK he even tried to get back at me... and event that was a fail. lol
