    Hi all,

I just bought a 2015 DCSB TRD OR in barcelona red metallic. Bought it brand new after seeing that 3-4 year old tacomas with 50k+ miles are only a couple grand less than brand new. Since I plan on keeping this for a long time and it will run till I die, it seemed like a good choice to buy new. I'm coming from a 2011 Subaru WRX. Despite loving the speed and handling of the Subaru there were just too many times when I wished I had a truck, whether it be for a backwoods camping adventure or a trip to home depot. I'm already looking into suspensions but won't be able to afford one until next year. Think I'll go icon stage 2 with dakar rear leafs. I'm hoping the stock setup will still be able to get me through light/moderate offroading until I can pull the trigger on the lift. Also considering plastidipping the chrome bumper and grill accent but not sure yet. Has anybody plastidipped the emblems? i like the look of matte black emblems like the trd pro has.

Welcome to TW and welcome to truck ownership. You already sound like you are hooked on mods and upgrades! I'm sure you will find plenty to do with your truck outdoors. In it's current stock condition it should be more than capable of handling even some tough off-roading (minus the rock climbing off course).
