Exhaust problems

First time post, just sold my runner for a taco, it has custom exhaust I'm not too crazy about. It feels as though there's not enough back pressure at lower rpms. It is a true dual setup with magnaflows and some kind of resonator involved. My question is what will it take to get back my y pipe to go with a more stock design? Here's some pics and thanks in advance for any sage wisdom.

 

I like your Y pipe. Keep it Just do the change after it to keep only one exhaust. Just modify after the resonnator to go trough only one exhaust. I think it could be a real good first try and the cheapest one.

 

Ok thanks guys will the urd y pipe mess with me if I go to get emissions test? I'm in seattle. I might just go talk to a custom exhaust shop.. I was hoping to not have to get into too much cost wise as I am looking at some 3" lift kits as well...

 

So here's what I ended up getting for 150$ not bad I suppose, feels better in low rpm, sounds about the same. Not the prettiest exhaust, but for the money I think it was the best option

 

+1 an inexpensive move.
