ive searched relentlessly and yet to find my answer....

so, 2004 trd, want to try and get some 285 70r 16s on it. Want to lift it in the futute but not in the budget yet. i have some steelies with 4" backspacing and the stock rims as well and some eagle alloy rims which i havent checked yet but from research look to also be 4'bs. Can i fit these tires if i bang in the pinch weld maybe do some trimming? will the stock rims or 4" bs rims work best? or will this work with a 2" levelling kit? ill be doing some wheeling on weekends, nothing extreme.

if anyone has done this please share your experience it would help alot.

    thanks :)

Child's play. My wheels are 5.5" back spacing, 3" lift and wheel spacers cleared the 285/75
