has anybody here been to wildwood new jersey recently? im looking to take the family on a vacation to the beach next summer and considering wildwood. the last time i was there was about 15 years ago so im asking to see how it is there now. if anybody thinks wildwood is a bad choice can you recomend some other east coast beaches? im not really trying to drive any more then 4 hours from baltimore. ocean city md is a no, it is trashy and very expensive. i thought about rehoboth deleware but there is not much to do there. for what it worth i will be going before school gets out for summer

I live right outside of Wildwood. It's still a pretty nice place with a lot to do on the Boardwalk. Most of the good Hotels are in Wildwood crest along with some nice free beaches. There is also still a lot to do right over the bridge in Cape May. If you need any help with anything or any recommendations shoot me a PM I should be able to help you.
