You have version 3.4. Find a dealer and see if they will flash it to the 4.0 firmware for you. That may help.

What are you hooking up for this? The status input wire on the PK-All coming from the alarm brain? That wire is to tell the pk-all to activate when the crank sequence from alarm brain starts. I am not familiar with Autopage alarms, but it would be the ground when running output wire. On DEI alarms it is blue or blue with white stripe.

i dont use a test light that simply clamps to a ground.... i have a snap on testlight that plugs into the cig lighter. all air bag wires are wrapped in yellow tape and loom... you have to be pretty dumb to mess those up... why is an hour not right?... if i know where every wire is and dont need to look them up.

btw... i installed 1398 remote starts last year.... only had 3 come back to me with problems...

2 of them the batterys in the remotes went dead

the other one wanted the run time changed.

As to the run status wire.... the brown/black (-) while running is def what you want. Corey is correct that it was blue (or bl/w?) on DEI.

I used a Fortin key-override-all in my install and it programmed perfectly. Different brand than the PK-All but same functionality and connection. The Fortin was recommended by the guys over at 12 volt and I was not disappointed. I first got a DEI XK-05 but that one required cutting a wire to the ECM over near the glove box. 2 issues, cutting the wire, and routing over to the glove box. I sent the XK-05 back. If you can't get the PK to work, you might try the Fortin.

Does this Autopage have to be programmed to my vehicle to start motor? I programmed the key fob but what about RPM, TACH...etc....

    thanks

the orange one you only need if you did starter kill.. the yellow wire is what you hook to the pkall's -neg while running wire.. this will let teh pkall know when to turn on.

on our trucks if the keysense wire gets a -neg pulse it will disarm the alarm without unlocking the doors.. you can hook the pink wire up to the keysense wire.

what is the remote start doing? describe whats going on. did you hook the tach wire up to the wire in the diagn. connector? and get it programmed?

ok... so the unit sounds like its trying to start the truck... so it sounds like a bypass module issue. double check ur tx/rx wires.. make sure they are connected right and all other wires.

It sounds to me you aren't getting +12v to one of the starter circuits. Back to the relays again.... I didn't see a built in 2nd starter relay on the list you sent. So I assume you installed one for that? I'd double check the connections to make sure you got the coil and main contacts wired up correctly so that high current +12v is going to the 2nd starter during start sequence. Also check the high current feed to the relay (chek the fuse in its path, should be supplied from one of the main +12V feeds to the ign switch) and the control wire from the autopage to the relay coil (not sure if + or - on the Autopage). Disregard if the autopage does indeed have onboard 2nd starter relay.

PKall gave the 10 blink Ok signal.

Not sure about the Autopage wires:

Grey/blk 200mA, sent it to the Ign Blk/Wht.....Small wire to Big Ign??

Pink 16gauge says to programming 200mA unlck--------Factory disarm---Sensor bypass???? really seems like this should go somewhere??

wht/blk-Hoodpin, didn't connect it so it should still show open which is like hood closed.

Wasn't sure on the Relay's for Ign......

Attached is what I have connected....
