Has anyone tried to put the 3rd Gen map light and rear view mirror in a 1st gen Tacoma? I have a wrecked 99 4Runner with the temp/compass mirror and before I start yanking it all out I was wondering if it had been attempted.

Compass was the one thing I didn't search, I'll take a look at it tomorrow morning and see if it is possible. My map lights are fine, may only need to install the mirror and do some dremel work on the original map light housing.
