Yeeaahhhh.... I've been thru the car wash more in the last 2 months than in the last 10 years. When it's clean, it's radiant!

Had a chance to change color when my Silver 14' was replaced with a Silver 15' and didn't do it. No regrets love the color.

No, I didn't even know they had that color in 2014. Too late now. Deposit and order submitted yesterday!!:(

Yes, the Limited may not have been a wise choice. However, when you add all of the extras, seems like an excellent value. I could be wrong. I wanted the heated seats, tow package, larger wheels, etc.

This is the first silver vehicle I have owned, but I am really happy with how well it appears to stay clean looking. Even after driving in the rain, the water marks are only very evident on the black trim.

Sounds like you got exactly what you wanted, don't listen to anyone else. Just an FYI, on TW the perfect 2nd gen does not exist. People hate on reg cabs, SB's & LB's, Limited's, People hate on Sports because of the scoop, people hate on Baja's, people hate on DC's or AC cabs, People are starting to hate on Pro's, People hate on Off-Roads if you don't even wheel etc... etc.. Since I've been on TW there has not been one single configuration of these trucks that someone hasn't hated on. Just saying and enjoy your truck when it arrives.

This is true! Haha, I was just giving him shit. The only model 2nd Gen that I hate on is the Limited. Never seen one I liked.

I've owned two white trucks, a dark blue one, a red one and a black one.

I went with Pyrite Mica this time, first metallic I've ever owned and I'm liking it more and more.

Every time I look at my truck I just reaffirm that I made a good choice in picking the color I really like! Pyrite looks really nice, and changes colors in different lighting at times. On bright sunny days it's a real nice glossy brown/gold and cloudy days it turns a subdued grey/brown. And in between washing it can get dirty as hell and only look dulled out/dusty. Really satisfied with my choice.

Not to mention I don't think I've heard of anyone whose said they regret picking Pyrite.

I got my 2005 in Super White. Got my 2012 also in Super White because I knew I would like it 5-10 years later. But when I see a Pyrite Mica, I kinda wish I had gotten the 12' in that color.... But I am very happy with the white - It just looks good.

I've checked about a month ago, all 'new' 2014s are gone for good. Gotta find a used one now.

I wanted a new 2014 regular cab a few months ago and there were only a handful left west of the mississippi, and only one in Vegas, so I bought it. It was white. I wasn't too excited about the color but its grown on me. With the black fender flares it reminds me of a stormtrooper helmet. Never thought I'd have a white truck but here I am :)

Love my Pyrite Mica. A little dark, so it shows dirt some, but not too bad. My 99 was Sierra Beige Mica, which I liked a lot. It absolutely refused to show dirt until it was really bad. That (or anything like it) wasn't available for the 2014 though. If I find myself admiring it (and I do) I figure I did OK on the color.

My first tacoma was a MGM access cab TRD sport, now I'm in a spruce mica DCSB TRD Off Road. I like it, as a matter of fact I specifically searched for it, but sometimes I miss the MGM. Colors like mgm, silver, black, and white lend themselves better to mods like bhlm and blacked out decals.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Kinda. But not really.

A silver Streak truck was the only one within 200 miles that had everything I was looking for in a used vehicle.

Silver stays clean even when its super dirty. It doesnt show scratches either.

If I were to buy new, I would have went with Pyrite Mica though. Fortunately, when my VW gets repainted, its getting painted Pyrite Mica.

Radiant Red - couldn't be happier. With the HID projectors (blackout) and the Satoshi grill, it turns heads. My new GF just told me that my tacoma makes her want to buy one of her own.
