My girlfriend has a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, and she has had a bad problem about her windows fogging up. I was wondering what a good product people use for this is.

Crack the window when you're banging in the back seat. :notsure:

Seriously, though, the best way to prevent fogging is to minimize the amount of moisture in the vehicle. Maybe she needs to do a better job of kicking the snow/water off her boots in the winter? If she has carpeted floor mats, take them out of the car and let them air dry in the house for a couple of days. On a dry sunny day, maybe try opening all the windows and parking the car in the sun, if that's an option.
She should keep her windows as clean as possible, too. Clean glass doesn't fog as fast as glass covered in dust/road grime.

    You're in Georgia...
How cold could it possibly be?

That's the weird thing is that other than a closed bottle of water there is no moisture in the car. As far as the cold it got below freezing last week and I hated it. I like the hot weather.

Haha. I forgot about the humidity, it's been 80%+ for the past 2 weeks. I picked some of that up at Walmart today. Hopefully it works.

The defroster only makes it worse. She has about a 25 minute drive to school twice a week. She ran the defrost the entire way, and it looked like this db1bfcd81fda0a94ae63c6f1ca62e412_813ef67d020c6d18da75fda1186220e8772e1d75.jpg.

The first step to clear windows is admitting the need to release in the parking lot.

There is moisture in the car somewhere. You have to get it out.

Check the in cabin filter for the AC. If its clogged, it will recirculate the cabin air causing moisture to build up.

Run the AC, it will clear up the fog in seconds. You don't have to run it on cold either, it will still be effective with warm air coming out.

    I'm in birmingham.

I can not run heat or anything without moisture if my ac isn't turned on.

Haven't played attention to Tacoma it might come on automatically. Either way I always run with compressed on and no fog.

Call me crazy most people won't do this spit on the inside of your windows and wipe them down the ph in your saliva will prevent fogging. I know I hear you saying no way. Works though.

I'm going to try the damprid today and check the cabin air filter, but if this doesn't work I'll see what she says about me spitting on her window hahaha. Sounds crazy enough it might actually work.
