Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
How did you get that lower section of the dash off for those switches? Is it just clips and pull or do I newd to remove more? Trying to install my ARB switches tomorrow but couldn't find a thread. Thanks!

I didn't remove it, I stuffed the wires back and chizzled it out as is. I originally used a dremel and had a few errors but finish it with a utility knife for the win

Your build is looking great! I see your truck all over TW since you got the stealth 6's. How's you truck holding up to the salt. Being right on the beach and all, did you have anything done to your frame?

Thanx dude! The frame is holding up well to the salt water/air and sand. Other parts dont do so well, like the exhaust and leaf springs. Driving on the beach is bitter sweet. I try to as much as I can give the whole truck a fresh water wash. After multiple trips on the beach without washes in between I'll hook up a sprinkler and stick it under the truck. I personally haven't done anything to the frame or under carriage, do you know of some ideas? The dealership said there was a under spray applied as I bout the truck brand new, but I never trust the dealership. I'll just on occasion get under the truck wire brush some of the rust spots and hit it with a spray can. It will be a never ending battle as a beach buggy.

Seems like you're staying on top of it. I've had a few people mention to me, the latest of which is a body shop owner to use Fluid Film. I'm going to start with that and see what happens. There's a thread on here about it and a couple of step by steps I think I'm going to follow.

How do those strip thingys wire up anyways? If i wanted to do a few sections do i need special connectors? I like the idea of the strip for inside and under my rtt.

I have it inside my tent, under my tent, and on my awning.

There are spots where you can cut and solder wires on. Sometimes it's not easy to get the solder to stick to it though.

So it's not a plug and play type thing. Either way it's not pricey and some real light in the tent would be nice.

doesn't take much to make a huge difference. I have a switch zip tied to the upright. like the kind you find on some lamps, an inline switch. then a long cord with a 12v plug on the end. toss it through the flap and plug it in.

I plan on doing this to mine, but either going to use a 9v battery box with a switch and then hardwire it like yours when I get my replacement tent or most likely wait since I'm a lazy f*ck and just hardwire it from the start when I get the replacement tent.
