If possible, I would love to have electric cutouts on a quiet stock exhaust. My brother did this to an SRT8 Charger and it was awesome! Definitely worth doing in my opinion.

Since I switched from a flat tappet cam to a roller cam, I have to swap the distributor gear. Add to that I need the thick film ignition module mounted on the distributor and not remotely like newer 351 distributors... I had to ebay an old distributor, and put a newer cam gear and shaft in it.

The Daddywagon's original fuel injection has two pumps. One pump in the tank, and one along the frame rail. I am going to order a 255 lph pump for inside the fuel tank and eliminate the frame mounted pump. I needed mustang fuel lines that I could lengthen to accommodate the wagon wheelbase. Craigs ad with no pics says 91 gt parts. The only item in the ad really worth anything are the 23 year old "fuel lines front to rear". What are the chances that I find the one guy who meticulously removed, cleaned, and painted the fuel lines because he thought he might need them for his cobra kit car project. And when he didn't need them he chose to store them for like ever! He didn't even remove the years old masking tape!

Guess what I just noticed? The kilometers per hour on the ltd lx cluster matches up perfectly with the miles per hour on the special service cluster! So if you use the special service mechanicals with the ltd lx face you can have the look and still know how fast you're going provided you can remember to look at the right set of numbers!*

The last time I was working on the wagon, I was installing the cobra brake booster and the pedals for conversion to a manual transmission. The steering column is out of the car to facilitate this. I realized that my 5 speed pedal assembly needs a clutch quadrant upgrade and I tried to go with the wider auto trans brake pedal and I didn't like the results. So I got stalled there last year just before winter hit. I also received my 255 LPH fuel pump last year, so I have that to do as well. Now that the weather is improving I hope to make a bigger push towards completion. My work schedule may change because we bid every April. Add to that my family obligations (one in college and one in first grade), and that leads you to me making excuses to not work on it. But I still talk about the wagon all the time and it has inspired me to learn about fabricating. In short, all is well so far and I have every intention to start back on this real soon. God willing...

I am always on craigslist looking for odds and ends. A month or two ago I found a pedal assembly with the clutch quadrant intact. I drove out to the Allentown area and picked that up. I have nothing else to really update because finding the time to wrench is a bitch. I am disappointed too. If I can back off on my work schedule this month, maybe I can get the ball rolling again. It's not on this thread and it's not really daddywagon related per se; but I did purchase a small hobart mig welder and a liquid cooled miller dynasty tig welder. While they might come in handy with the wagon I bought them more for my future endeavors.

The funny thing is that wagon is local to me and has been for sale for close to a year.

No. Life is getting in the way a little bit. I am not giving up though. I am putting a list together to make another push at it.
