I'm looking at ordering a lift come spring. So far I've heard a lot of good reviews about the BDS 6". I'm just looking for a quality lift that gives a smooth ride. So I'm open to offers on other company's.

Next question is it worth to upgrade to shocks vs the spacers? The base kit is $2200 and the coil over kit is $3800. Would the $1600 be better spent on different shocks?

Last question, are the leafs that come with the kit worth their money or better off to buy a different brand.

Are you looking for off roading capability or mainly looks from your lift? If functionality, 3" lift is best. I don't know much about the 6" ones though.

Are you a prerunner or 4WD? IMO suspension is always better then spacers. If your going for looks then 6" would do but you dont get any more ground clearance then a 3" lift due to the front drop bracket under the truck.

Yes sorry its a 4wd. Im not well blessed between the legs so I need a big lift. That's pretty well the only reason I want a 6"

You'll get a hundred different recommendations, buy any one of them and you'll end up with someone else's lift.
Spend the next six months reading a thousand pages and educating yourself,
then buy YOUR lift, you'll be much happier with it.
    Just my two cents.

FWIW: Don't buy spacers, and as previously posted, what's your purpose for lifting.
Lotta $$$, do it right once. Educate yourself

Truck only sees light off-roading. It works fine with a 3`` lift and 33s. I just want to run a bigger lift. Honestly that`s the only reason.

Ah got yah. I also have a 3" with 33"s and a few years back I was debating on going higher up to a 6" but weighed out the goods and bads and stuck with my 3". ;)

Ive never had a truck with a 6 inch lift nor have I owned a new truck. So I figured I might as well do it to this one.
