how to fit 35s?

    i know its possible to fit 35s on a 3in lift but i have never trimmed or cut the fenders what does this mean?

    to fit 35's youre going to need to do the frame chop mod and also lose the wheel well liner. You will also need to take a razer or cutting tool to cut a little of the fender to prevent rubbing. Also (although not 100% necessary) you should regear the differentials to protect the drive train. I am about to put 35's on mine and although I have fiberglass fenders and no wheel well liner, I still have to chop the frame by the wheels and I am regearing to 4.56. Total, its probably going to cost around 1600 for 5 35's nitto trail grapplers, and 2800 to get both diff's regeared and add an ARB locker for the rear. But there are a few people on here that have 35's with no regear and the truck loses gas mileage, doesnt get up and go quite the same and i think a few other minor things. to me, its not worth going half way in and possibly damage something. I would (and currently am) taking more time to save the money and do it right.
